Shirley Taylor
Shirley has been Dr. Van Zyl’s office manager since he started practicing dentistry in 1998. Her friendly disposition ensures your visit will be a pleasant one. She is a native Memphian and has been married to Don since 1964. They have two grown daughters and three granddaughters. Shirley enjoys weekend trips to Pickwick Lake for sunning, boating and relaxing with family and friends. She is active in her church and serves as a deaconess. It is her pleasure to assist you after you have completed each appointment and looks forward to meeting each and every patient.
Shannon Maxwell
Shannon is both registered and certified as a dental assistant with the State of Tennessee and has been assisting chair-side for the past ten years. She and her husband live in Olive Branch with their 8-year old son, Garret. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, quilting and sunning. Her personal goal is to make your experience in our dental office friendly, efficient and comfortable.
Debi Williams
Debi is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a native Memphian who has been practicing in this area for more than 30 years, the last seven with Dr. Van Zyl. Debi is married to Joel and has 3 sons, twins who are grown and the youngest son who is attending the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. To relax, she takes pleasure in a good book, spending time with family and friends and enjoying the music of her husband’s band. Debi has a long reputation for her gentle thoroughness and quality care.
Tammy Anderson
Tammy is the newest addition to our practice. As the front desk coordinator, she is the first smile to greet you in our office and the cheery and helpful voice on the phone when making appointments. She is a graduate from White Station High School, has been married for 8 years and has a daughter 6 years old. She enjoys shopping, decorating and is a huge Memphis Tiger fan. Tammy looks forward to scheduling your appointments and assisting you as needed.
